  6.     Mother: Joanna Kapralov, 36, teacher in higher education

  10. 2.    How large a family did each parent come from? 
  11.     Joanna: 2 parents and 2 brothers

  13. 3.    How much time does your family spend together at 
  14.     work and play?
  15.     It depends on the season. We spend almost all our time 
  16.     together in the summer. In autumn and winter we spend 
  17.     evenings and weekends together.

  19. 4.    How far do you commute to work or school?
  20.     Joanna walks 1 mile in the morning to teach German and 
  21.     3/4 miles in evening to teach music.

  23. 5.    What kinds of transportation do you use? How much time 
  24.     is spent in transport?
  25.     We walk or take the bus.

  27. 6.    Do you actively practice your religion?  How does it affect 
  28.     your daily life and community?
  29.     Joanna is an atheist, but since Eugeny's death, has started 
  30.     going to church to light candles.

  36.     Before Eugeny was killed, we were comfortable, but had to 
  37.     work very hard. Now it will be a struggle.
